Julie Griffin | Administrator

Julie moved to Bodmin 30 years ago with her young family. She has spent most of that time working in administration and management in the voluntary, charitable sector. Julie is active with various groups in the community and coodinates our Knit and Natter group and crafts markets.

Lisa Townsend | Marketing Lead

Lisa is the Marketing Lead at intoBodmin as well as a freelance marketeer with her company Change Your Badge. Having worked in early years teaching, business management at Sterts and now audience development and marketing, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge around building and telling our story.

Lisa Glithero | Fundraising & Development Lead

Lisa has over 8 years experience in the Fundraising and Community field from Supporter Engagment to Challenge Events. Having grown up locally Lisa moved away to work in inclusive theatre; writing and directing productions in South London and is now back in the area channeling her creativity and commitment to make positive change for the intoBodmin organisation.

Beth Woolley | Community Café Lead

Beth grew up in Bodmin and moved away to study and work in other parts of the UK as a renewable energy statistician. She took a year out to travel and then settled in Peru where she setup a Cafe and B&B  in a bamboo house in the Peruvian desert. Beth returned to Bodmin 5 years ago, and is really passionate about cooking tasty vegetarian food and making Bodmin a better place to live. In her spare time she is part of the team leading Plastic Free Bodmin.

mimi

Mimi Attenburrow | Events and Creative Projects Co-ordinator

Mimi is an actor, events manager, Cornwall Comedian of the Year (2022), horse rider and protector of hedgehogs. Mimi joined us as a volunteer in 2019 to run the Open Stage events and then took on Bodminton. Mimi is now working to programme and coordinate the live programme of intoBodmin events and Creative Projects.

Sara Treasurer | Events Administrator and Active Bodmin Coordinator

Sara started working with intoBodmin as a volunteer events steward, then an events supervisor and volunteer ambassador, she joined the team in 2022 to take on the event administration and then, in 2023, has taken on the role of Active Bodmin Coordinator, working with Active Cornwall and the activity we're running to help get more people doing physical activity.

Tash

Tash Arnold | Co-director

Tash has lived in Cornwall for 18 years and for 14 of those, worked at Fifteen and the Cornwall Food Foundation, joining as part of the opening team and working up to Head of Foundation. Tash joins intoBodmin to develop our operations and future sustainability.

Fin Irwin | Founder & Co-director

Fin grew up in Bodmin and then moved to Exeter, where he was the founder and director of The Bike Shed Theatre. He has worked as a theatre producer, programmer for The House, and part-time farmer on his parents' farm in Cardinham.

Claire

Claire Honey | Chair

Claire's experience spans strategic business development, managing funded programmes, complex project management, community and stakeholder engagement, leading high performing cross-functional teams, and organisational change management. Having spent 13 years at RIO, Claire is now a freelance consultant and Chair of intoBodmin's Board of Directors.

 

Matt

Matt Punyer | Treasurer

Matt is a fully qualified Accountant (FMAAT) and part-qualified Chartered Accountant (CIMA). He has been working in Charity Finance for over 10 years as Senior Finance Manager at Global Action Plan & Founder of Kernow Smart Accounting Ltd. Matt is the intoBodmin Treasurer and hot desks at The Old Library.

 

Jowdy

Jowdy Davey

Jowdy has worked in Fundraising and Development for nearly 20 years working at institutions like National Gallery, Tate St Ives and Hall for Cornwall. She has been a freelance consultant for the last two years but most recently has been appointed as the Cornish Language Lead for Cornwall Council. Jowdy joined the intoBodmin Board of Directors from the outset and has helped secure over £600k in grant funding over the last 18 months.

Joy Bassett

As well as being the Practice Manager at local loaw firm AP Bassett Solicitors, Joy is the Chair at Bodmin Chamber of Commerce & Industry Ltd and Co Founder of Cornwall Gateway CIC. She has been a very pro-active member of the Bodmin community for years, she is on the Twinning Committee, a trustee of BRIN and has been a town councillor and the Labour MP candidate for North Cornwall.

Jayne Smith

Jayne was the Head of Art at Bodmin college for many years. More recently she stepped into the inaugural role of Aspiration's Coordinator, helping young people from Bodmin College to aim high and reach their goals. An inspirational teacher and mentor to countless children from Bodmin. Jayne has now retired but remains an active member of the community and advocate for creative opportunities in Bodmin.
