Share Box

The Share Box

Have you noticed the blue box which is outside The Old Library?

This is a Share Box, where we (and anyone who wants to) place things that we'd like to share with anyone who needs them.

We worked with Bodmin College construction students and local volunteers to make this Share Box, but it belongs to everybody — neighbours, friends, and people we don’t even know yet.

How does it work?

Anyone can take something from the Share Box.

If you see something you need or you’d like, take it. You don’t have to give something at the same time as you take something.

The Share Box is an idea inspired by organisations like The Little Free Library project.

It inspires a love of sharing, builds community, and sparks creativity through neighbourhood sharing boxes.
