Creative Community Practitioner
Start Date: April 2025
Hours: This is a flexible, part time role of 22.5 hours/3 days per week.
Salary: £15,600 per annum (£26,000 Pro Rata)

What we are looking for...
Thanks to the funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, intoBodmin is looking for a skilled and imaginative Creative Community Practitioner to work with communities in Bodmin to co-design and deliver creative projects that reflect their needs and aspirations. This role is rooted in collaboration and aims to empower local people to shape creative initiatives that resonate with them.
The Creative Community Practitioner will play a hands-on role in designing and delivering projects while also helping to identify opportunities for external artists to be commissioned where specialist expertise is needed. They will also work closely with the wider intoBodmin team to identify and highlight pathways for community engagement across all organisational activities.

Finance and Data Coordinator
Start Date: March 2025
Hours: 15 hours per week 0.4FTE
Salary: £10,000 per annum (£25,000 Pro Rata)
Contract: Fixed Term 12 Months

What we are looking for:
The Finance and Data Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining efficient operations across financial, human resources, and data functions. This position requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities. The role is integral to supporting financial processes, managing HR documentation, and overseeing data collection to monitor our social impact and funder reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage financial processes, including raising invoices, processing supplier payments, and performing bank reconciliations.
• Process payroll, including tax code updates, pension setup and correspondence, and HMRC payments.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Process and monitor cafe finance, including cash-up checks, banking takings, completing actual v budget spreadsheets, and journaling income.
• Monitor and report on budgets, generating financial reports for project leads.
• Oversee HR functions, such as maintaining training records, holiday and sickness tracking, and managing recruitment processes.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date staff files and issue necessary paperwork for new starters and leavers.
• Work with the team and external evaluators to design and manage data collection processes.
• Design and manage data storage systems across the organisation ensuring effective use and legal compliance.
• Analyse data and provide information for the organisation to meet its reporting requirements.
Organisational responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain an efficient and positive working environment.
• Ensure compliance with all company polices and standards, safeguarding, data security, and health and safety regulations.
• Represent and deliver the organisation’s values of community, creativity, and collaboration.
• Fulfil other relevant tasks and responsibilities as may from time to time be required by the company.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Proven experience in finance assistance role.
• AAT qualifications would be an advantage or commit to work towards achieving these.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including an accounting system ,such as Xero, and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.,
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and pension administration.
• Analytical skills for data reporting and financial monitoring.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
In addition to the competencies outlined above, the post-holder is expected to demonstrate an interest in the organisation’s mission and values and to operate within the Equal Opportunities guidelines and other policies set by the organisation.
It may be necessary to work beyond normal office hours in order to meet deadlines. Although predominantly desk-based, this post may occasionally require the post holder to travel across Cornwall or beyond in order to pursue development opportunities or attend training, seminars or other events.
