The Pop-Up is a space for ideas to land, grow and be shared. It offers a town centre platform for artists, makers, community groups and creative projects to try something out, meet people and bring new energy to Bodmin’s high street.

So far, the space has been part of FLAMM 2026, a creative programme inviting people to explore Bodmin through interactive sculptures, sound experiences, immersive films and reimagined journeys.

The Pop-Up also hosted the Community Gallery, a hugely successful exhibition celebrating local artists and makers, giving people the opportunity to showcase and sell their work while creating an accessible gallery space open to everyone.

The Pop-Up has also become home to immersive experiences, including The Time Machine, an interactive installation inviting visitors to step into another world through creativity, storytelling and play.

Every project leaves its mark before making way for the next, ensuring no two visits are ever quite the same.

Keep an eye on this page and our social media for short-notice openings, quick creative takeovers and little moments you’ll want to catch while they’re here.

THE PEOPLE'S MUSEUM is a community project built from the things people choose to share and the stories that come with them.

It’s less about formal displays and more about the meaning behind everyday objects a mug, a book, a recipe, a small item that holds a memory of a person, place or moment.

We invite people to bring something that matters to them and tell us why. Those stories become part of a growing collection that reflects the lives and experiences of the community.

Because space in the physical exhibition is limited, there will also be a digital version of the museum.

This means people locally and from further afield can still contribute and be part of it.

Within the space, a selection of objects will be brought to life through moving illustrations, alongside recorded voices and written text, helping each story feel personal, present and shared.

It’s about turning everyday “stuff” into something that connects people a living, evolving collection of memories.

We very much look forward to hearing what you have to say.
