Important changes to The Old Library Cafe
Just in case you missed our announcement last week, we’ve made the difficult decision to pause our current café service and begin the search for a new independent cafe operator to take on this unique space.
We are now looking to welcome a new independent café operator this autumn — someone who is as passionate as we are about creating a welcoming, inclusive and thriving cafe for our local community.
Expressions of interest are now open with an application deadline of 5pm Thursday 31st July. Please spread the word and share this information with anyone you know who might be the perfect person to take on this unique opportunity,

Cafe service changes
☕️ From 18th July, we’ll be hitting pause on our full café menu.
☕️ From Monday 21st July, we’ll be running a drinks and cakes service (9:30am–2:30pm) while we prepare for a new chapter.
☕️ Regular events, meetups, and the community garden will continue as usual 🌱
Digital Friends
If you need to get online, we can help.
We received a donation of two iPads through a scheme run by Healthwave. These iPads are free to borrow in the café for people wanting to join a Zoom meeting, set up a social media profile, fill out an application - or whatever you need. This scheme is supported by Barclays Digital Wings programme.
Just pop in and ask at the café. If you need someone to help you get set up or do something specific - a Digital Friend - then please email fin@intobodmin.co.uk or ask at the café.

When the sun is shining there's nothing better than sitting out in our lovely outside space - The Old Library Cafe Garden!
Have you visited our very own vegetable garden and outdoor seating area? We use fresh produce from the garden in our dishes. From garden to plate - you can't get much fresher than that!
You can even join in and get growing too!

The Old Library Refurbishment project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority forthe fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
