The Useful Info
Our café is run by a small but perfectly formed team of staff and volunteers led by Sarah. All the soups, quiches, cakes and specials are made in our kitchen using produce from our garden wherever possible.
The menu is compact on purpose; so everything can be freshly prepared, reducing waste where we can.
We want everyone to feel welcome in our community space. We keep prices as low as we can and offer mugs of tea or coffee by donation to those who need them.
We run a 'Pay it Forward' scheme - where you can donate a hot meal to someone in need. See our board for details.
Our Cafe space also hosts regular groups; Knit & Natter, Stay and Play, and Crafternoons to name a few. If you'd like to bring your group to us drop us a line to discuss your needs.
Opening hours: Mon - Fri | 9am-4pm
Wifi: Free wifi, and iPads (see below, Digital Friends)
Access: The café is situated on the ground floor, with wheelchair access at the rear (to the right of the main entrance). With a disabled toilet and a baby changing facility
Digital Friends
If you need to get online, we can help.
We received a donation of two iPads through a scheme run by Healthwave. These iPads are free to borrow in the café for people wanting to join a Zoom meeting, set up a social media profile, fill out an application - or whatever you need. This scheme is supported by Barclays Digital Wings programme.
Just pop in and ask at the café. If you need someone to help you get set up or do something specific - a Digital Friend - then please email fin@intobodmin.co.uk or ask at the café.
The Old Library Café Garden
When the sun is shining there's nothing better than sitting out with delicious homemade food in our lovely outside space - The Old Library Café Garden!
Have you visited our very own vegetable garden and outdoor seating area? We use fresh produce from the garden in our dishes. From garden to plate - you can't get much fresher than that!
You can even join in and get growing too!
