A Cornish Lens – celebrating the work of Bodmin photographer, George Ellis.

George Ellis was a photographer based in Bodmin, he captured the everyday lives of people living in the Town. We’ve been running a creative workshops over the last couple of months, which has been exploring his collection of extraordinary Bodmin photographs from the 1930’s to 1980’s.

We’d like to invite you to our event to share with you what we’ve created!

There will be a display from both our BodZine project and Henwyn Collective.
The BodZine team have been making a DIY, collaborative ‘scrapbook’ of imagery and opinion and the Henwyn collective have been exploring interests in photography and printing techniques.

We can’t wait to see what they’ve come up with alongside a display of George Ellis photographs of Bodmin.

The event is on 11th March at 2pm in The Old LIbrary Cafe and is free to attend.
