Getting Here

As an Organisation, audience transport makes up around 60% of our carbon emissions, with the majority of this coming from car journeys. Whilst we understand that it is not always possible to avoid car use as we live in a rural area, it would be great if you could help us protect the environment and, where possible, choose to take an alternative form of transport.

Where is The Old Library?
Our address is 10 Lower Bore St, Bodmin, PL31 2JX

Where can I park?
We do not have parking onsite.
There are plenty of parking around Bodmin Town and we have made a Google Map showing you both paid and free options. The Town is quieter in the evening so on-street parking is easier to find at this time.

Bike storage

Cycling is a great eco-friendly way to travel, if you are able. There are many cycle routes around Bodmin and we are located just off the Camel trail.

There are bike racks located opposite The Old Library building.

By train

Bodmin Parkway train station is on the main Plymouth to Penzance train line and is approximately 4 miles from The Old Library. It can be accessed by the number 57 bus or by Taxi.

The Last train to Plymouth is at 22.18 and to Penzance is 23.19. This should provide you with plenty of time to get to the station after an evening performance (please note that times may vary, so it is important to check before you decide to travel).

Find train times and more information on the GWR website.

Is the building accessible?
The Old Library can be accessed through the front door, up some steps or the back door, via a flat path to an automatic door. The automatic door is accessible for wheelchair users and buggies or prams. We have a lift and also ground floor accessible toilets.
